Ford Electric
As Ford continues to expand their hybrid line-up and plans to fully electrify 16 of their popular models by 2022, I took on the challenge to rethink the brand’s image to complement their vision. The new Ford logo portrays a leaf, symbolizing the green source of energy that will power the new electric line-up in the future. The streaks that break through the leaf create a sense of movement and forward thinking. The letters are still connected as they are in the current logo, creating a sense of unity and inclusiveness; connecting the existing fuel line-up to a green future of electric and hybrid models.
The pattern on the packaging for maintenance parts consists of the iconic blue oval that has been part of the Ford brand from the early days of the company. The sections where the ovals overlap create a sharp and futuristic pattern typical of many of the Ford car grilles, giving the packaging a clean and futuristic feel to match the entire brand.
