Midas Magazine
In the Fall Semester of 2021, I had the privilege of working as the Design Director for Midas Magazine, leading a wonderful and diverse team of designers: Corina Hellmer, Kevin Ku, and Moi Tanchico to create this 80+ page publication. Midas Magazine is the latest addition to Student Niner Media at UNC Charlotte, focusing on four main pillars: culture, identity, artistry, and culture.
The Fall 2021 issue (below) won two awards in a contest hosted in New York City in early 2022 from the College Media Association. We won first place for their NYC22 Design Contest with the opening spread of the Heritage at Home article, and received an Honorable Mention for Best Magazine Cover.
